Long Son A1 Southern Petrochemical Complex Project

Long Son Petrochemical Company Limited (LSP), a company incorporated in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, was established to develop, construct and operate Vietnam’s first integrated petrochemical complex located in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. The project will comprise a global-scale primary blending plant, downstream polyolefins (HDPE, PP and LLDPE) plants, central utility units, ports, jetties and storage facilities and other related facilities.

The Southern Petrochemical Complex Project (Long Son Petrochemicals – LSP) is the first petrochemical complex in Vietnam with a capacity of up to 1.6 million tons/year, capable of replacing imported polylefins products. The project also includes other infrastructure facilities next to the petrochemical production complex and deep-water port area.
 
VNCN E&C is in charge of the Construction and Mechanical and Electrical works for 3 clusters of SUBSTATION – FIELD AUXILIARY ROOM power station buildings in 3 areas 3S, 0S and 5F and small house items: Gatehouse, Pre-fabricate Gatehouse, Operation Tool Room. Total construction area (1 floor): 4700 m2.

The substation buildings have a monolithic reinforced concrete structure, using a strip foundation system at a depth of -2.00m compared to the +0.00 elevation. The main structure is a monolithic reinforced concrete frame system consisting of 2 floors, surrounded by brick walls and finished with paint and putty. The interior finishing part of the house uses epoxy paint, raised floors and acid-resistant bricks.011.

In this package, in addition to construction, VNCN E&C was entrusted by the main contractor TPSK to carry out the entire design, supply and installation (EPC) of electrical and HVAC systems for these power station clusters. The design work is being carried out in parallel with the construction work on site, ensuring the project's progress.
