On September 5, Long Son Petrochemical Company Limited (LSP) cooperated with Sao Phuong Bac Equipment & Technology Company Limited and Vina E&C Construction Investment Joint Stock Company to award 120 scholarships, with a total value of 100 million VND, to disadvantaged students in Long Son commune on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026.
Scholarships were awarded to students at all 5 schools in the commune, including Huong Duong Kindergarten, Tuoi Tho Kindergarten, Long Son 1 Primary School, Long Son 2 Primary School and Bach Dang Secondary School.
Sharing at the Opening Ceremony at Bach Dang Secondary School, Ms. Nattinee Amornpong, Finance Director of LSP, shared: “At LSP, we believe that education is the foundation for developing the young generation, the key force that will contribute to building the future of the country. Therefore, LSP has cooperated with local authorities, organizations and partners to implement many programs to support students to maintain their studies, while developing comprehensively in terms of physical and mental health. We hope that these scholarships will somehow encourage and motivate students to overcome difficult circumstances and strive to achieve good academic results.”

Since 2010, at the beginning of each school year, LSP has maintained the provision of scholarships to disadvantaged students in Long Son commune. Over the past 15 years, the company has supported more than 900 students, with a total value of over VND 550 million.
In addition, LSP also cooperates with the parent corporation SCG and partners to implement many youth development initiatives in Long Son commune and neighboring areas. These efforts include awarding scholarships on the occasion of the new school year opening, supporting the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Education Promotion Association and the “LSP Sharing the Dream” scholarship program for university and college students in Long Son commune and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. In addition to financial support, LSP also implements many activities to expand educational opportunities for local youth. Over the years, LSP has organized English Club activities to help people, especially the young generation in Long Son commune, improve their English skills and realize the importance of this language. Since April this year, the club's activities will be maintained regularly every Sunday, with the support of volunteers from LSP and Vung Tau English Club. By August, the program had successfully organized 20 activities, attracting nearly 700 participants.
